Enough

I’m Lory Ivey Alexander, and this is Black + Breathing.

I am enough.

Whenever I question myself, whenever I lose confidence in my path, in my steps. I will remember that I am enough.

What brought me here is enough to take me wherever I need to go because I am enough.

I was created for every moment for every encounter, good or bad. I am enough.

As I consider my many options, I will no longer validate each choice based on fear or on scarcity. I will not validate choices based on lack of clear vision. I will take the time to evaluate my options, but I’m already enough. So, I won’t waste time, evaluating my options. And I know that my decisions are good ones and there are more decisions that are yet to be made. I only need to do one thing at a time. If that thing does not work out, it is no judgment on who I am or what I am. I’m already enough.

If I never do another day of labor, I was already enough. If I never say another word, I was already enough. There is nothing. I need to prove there is not even anyone to prove it too. I am already enough.

When the doubts come, and they will, I will be present, and I will observe them. I will look at my thoughts, like flowers in the yard, and I will notice which ones are pink, and which ones are purple, but I will not rip any of them up. They exist outside of me. I am already enough.

The beautiful thing about this life is the predictability of pain, the predictability of doubt, the predictability of suffering, because with those predict abilities, comes the predictability of surprises. The predictability of sunrises, the predictability of laughter, and the predictability of joy.

As I move through all these wonderful and tragic things, I will remember that. I am already enough. I was placed here in each moment intentionally and I will place my feet intentionally as well. The parts of me, I control will move smoothly. They will move with the grace of someone who knows they are already enough; that there is nothing that their feet have to do; there is nothing that their hands have to do. There is nothing to do to prove that I am already enough.

There is nothing to confirm. All I have to do is to continue to exist, and all confirmation is due only to myself. I am already enough.

Today, I'm everything.

I'm everything everything I want. Everything you want. Everything I need to be. I'm just everything.

There's nothing in me that isn't wanted by the universe.

Everything I need, I already have. I am able to create worlds inside my brain, they come effortlessly. I release all negative energy. Everything that weighs me down. I share only good wealth, and good health. There is nothing in me. That is not riches. I attract only the best because I expect the best. I know that as long as I am doing what I am able to do. Nothing, will fail me. Try as the universe might, I will succeed because I conspire with it.

I am supported and I allow myself to be supported. My relationship with support is a strong one. I love support. I embrace it and I support others. All of the challenges in my past have prepared me for today. Today, I am everything. Thank you for joining me. This has been Black + Breathing.
